It was both exciting and tiring to do the cross country. A lot of children had very tired legs by the end of the carnival. Others had dry throats and some people had to walk some of the way. It was a hot day, so we got hot and tired too during the race. After, we had to make sure we drunk plenty of water and cooled down.
When we got to the end of the race, everyone got a ticket that showed you the place you came in the race. Two people from our class, Abby and Coalby, received a trophy for being the fastest junior girl and boy runner on the day.
We had to go back to class after lunch but all we really wanted to do was to have a long sleep somewhere.
Even though we were hot and tired, it was still a fun morning.

Hi three blue.I love cross country it is so fun because you really do not know what you are going to come in the race.also cross country is very heathy for you. I really do not care what I come in the race because it is all about fun.From Mia

I really liked cross country because all the teachers were really nice and they all said go conway go rush and all the other teams.I came 3rd in the cross country and I got to go to Zones.
